Second time here and nothing really impressive the food is okay... Service is slow to average... People in our group were given warm bottle beer. By warm I am talking room temperature and this was on a Saturday evening. If someone said the beer came from the warehouse to the truck to the table and bypassed any refrigeration.... I would believe it.

Doc's Porchside located on Washington Road in Augusta, GA Food: I had visited the Grovetown location before and wanted to see how the Washington Road location measured up. Appetizers was Boom Boom Shrimp... Outstanding!!! What a great appetizer! We ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of tots and Philly cheese steak sandwich also with tots. The Philly cheese steak was delicious with tender, seasoned steak, peppers and cheese. The brisket sandwich was good however got a piece of fat cap which took away from the overall sandwich. I had this sandwich before and it was on point! Service: Excellent service, our waitress was so nice and accommodating. Ambiance: I loved the decor... all the wall art was incredible and the life size mannequins of Ali and what I suppose is Bret Farve really was an attention grabber.

Doc's has some great staff members. They are always friendly and seem glad to see me. They do a great job of remembering your typical order. The food is pretty good too. For brunch, try the huevos fundito. Two eggs with potatoes, chorizo, and a delicious sauce. I also enjoy the turkey wrap. If you want to watch sports, this is a great place to they also have trivia night and two nights of live music. Swing by, I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Dock's Porchside is a big, laid-back spot that's super accommodating and perfect for a casual hangout. They do trivia on Thursdays, play good music, have plenty of TVs for watching a game, and allow dogs on the porch. The food is decent with a huge menu--I had the Porchside Burger, and it was exactly what you'd expect.

The parking lot looked super packed on a late Saturday afternoon, but we figured we would still try to get in. No wait, and the place did not appear full. The service was very friendly, and the decor was "barish". The food, however, was delicious. We started with drinks - list in the photos. We opted for the Black Cherry Cider, and it did not disappoint. He got the mac n cheese with burnt ends (it could have had a few more pieces included in the dish), but the mac n cheese was rich and creamy, and the ends were tasty. I had the buffalo chicken wrap with a side of mac - it was HOT HOT and good. The only reason I did not give this a five-star review was the restrooms were disgusting - they smelled terrible and needed a good cleaning. I can imagine this place gets pretty busy on sporting days, and on nights, they have live entertainment and are family-friendly in the afternoons and early evenings.

Great space with a vacation vibe. We tried the Carolina hot chicken sandwich. Excellent! My husband loved it and kept commenting on how good the coleslaw was. I had the seafood skillet. It was good, but incredibly rich! I asked for some tortilla chips on the side so I could use them to eat the crawfish dip at the bottom of my skillet.

The Ohio State Alumni meets here on game day. Our group is seated comfortably at low tables which suits the older alumni. Service is friendly and efficient. They accommodate my request for cherry coke by mixing grenadine with a cherry. Awesome service. Prices are reasonable as the menu is diverse and interesting. Best green fried tomatoes I've had in a long time.

Misty was our waitress and she was great!! It was Mother's Day so the restaurant was steady but not extremely busy. She was very attentive and made sure drinks were filled and answered any questions about the menu and made several recommendations. The food was all fantastic from the appetizer to entrees and the drinks. It wasn't loud at all just right nice and peaceful. We will definitely be back to try more delicious food and request Misty's great service!! Thanks Doc for providing excellent customer service!!

First time here & after reading all the recommendations, you better get those egg rolls!! The portions are perfect for sharing, there was only 3 of us but we made a dent in those nachos. Service was decent, our server was friendly. Great place to hang out too it seems like.
